I am almost ready to do some canning. Jellies and preserves are so simple and important. This is exciting. Lemon juice or liqueur make jam more interesting. Making jam takes about 30 minutes. This jam was made with gelatin. I am planning on making jam with pectin soon. An expert would probably use apples to have pectin. Waiting for the gelatin to set takes several hours. Making this in the evening is perfect. This jam is probably best for desserts. It was not sweet enough to overpower the flavor of brioche. I was still thrilled!
